Cumbia Heights is an alternative tropical band formed in Washington DC, inspired by the cumbia movement that Latin America bore. Bringing driving beats mixing classic tropical rhythms, pasos prohibidos, and a dirty punk attitude, Cumbia Heights straddles the “alt-tropical” space while pulling from their own Sazón.
